Online Course on Coursera

             I took an online course on https://www.coursera.org website to learn and improve my English. The course is grammar and punctuation course with University of California, Irvine.

         I have completed grammar and punctuation course, and I have got 89.3% grade. After I learnt from the course I practiced a lots, and my English was improved better. In the course is about; verb tenses and conjunctions, compound and complex sentences and more commas, parallel structure, and sentence variety.

           English learning online is very great method to learn English and moreover I can learn more other online courses on the website that interesting such as courses in the arts and humanities and business. I was fun and happy to learn, practice the online courses on website by myself.

- Her dream is to open a flowers-shop. - Her dream is to open a flower-shop.	Flower shop is name of the shop. It isn’t means the flower in the shop.
- These shoes are made by hands in Italy. - These shoes are made by hand in Italy.	It’s idiom in English, so hand don’t add s on the end of the word.

Word order

- Fallen branches covered completely the car. - Fallen branches covered the car completely.	Completely is an adverb and cover is a verb, so adverb have to set before verb or set on the end of the sentence.

Improved writing skill

    Hello everyone! Last week I had to evaluate my English skills and the result was as follows:

From my self-evaluation language skill I have the high scores on speaking skill but low scores on listening skill. I have to improve my listening skill to better by practice listening English on http://englishteststore.net website.

        Next, I chose litening test true or false in the column on the left.

         There are many listening comprehension tests such as easy level test, medium level test and hard level test. I have done 10 tests of easy level test.

How to do the tests:  There are passage mp3 clips for me to listen then I answered the questions by choosing true or false.

           Finally, I got the results of my test, and I passed all of 10 tests. This are some of the results from some tests.

Itinerary Program Tour

My Duty: 
        I’am a presenter the activity with my group. The activity about using computer to make itinerary program in their city for their friend who sent a letter to them.

Procedure of the activity:

        First our group present the activity in class that about aims, procedure, of the activity. We show itinerary program from website and tell composition of the itinerary program that they have to make by searching the infromation on internet. Then describe how to make the itinerary program in their city which appropriate with their friend from the letter that they received on Microsoft Word program.

        There are many column that students can choose to make their itinerary such as time, place, activity, and picture of each places.

         Second, students work in pairs to write a letter and send it to their couple. Then make a itinerary program appropriate with their friend's characteristic and requirement.

        Third write and show their product on their blog and describe about their itinerary program.

        Finally, Everyone shares their blog on facebook to exchange the information, their opinion and comment their friends so they will get feedback from their production.

          I learnt how to create instruction material about interesting country in Microsoft Word.

I chose Switzerland to present about information, important places, geography and tourist attractions of the country. Switzerland is very interesting country that I would like to visit some time.
